chow, maybe chow/golden mix

We found this dog on July 4 after we were watching fireworks at the Pirate Cove splash park, and he jumped into the backseat of our friend's car! He was terrified. We walked all around the park, asking if he belonged to anyone, but no one claimed him. We've posted signs around the neighborhood, and I've filed a found dog report with the Humane Society.

He is a huge (80 lbs, maybe?) chow, maybe chow/golden mix. He is in desperate need of a grooming. He gets along perfectly with our other dogs and our kids, so he's a sweet guy. If we could keep a third dog, I'd keep him in a minute, so I'm anxious to find him a good home.

These two dogs were found on 17 March 2008 in Calhan.  They both seem to be house broken and are very friendly.  There are both about three years old.  The Lab is neutered but we don't know about the Chow yet.  Please identify by the type and color of collar.  Please contact us if you are or know the owner of these dogs.

Border Collie Mix

? (we call him "Frankie")

?

Frankie was found on May 3rd at the intersection of Eastonville and Latigo.  He’s an overweight, neutered, male border collie/mix.  He’s good with other dogs (except mine who attacks him mercilessly whenever she has a chance), and cats.  He’s not food aggressive.  He let me pick him up, and he loves to lay on my lap.  He knows basic commands and is more than happy having just his basic needs met.  If my dog were not so agitated by him, I’d not hesitate to keep him.  He doesn’t chew on things or dig, yet he alerts me by barking if someone passes by on the trail behind my house.  He does seem to be afraid of horses.
