Saving the Hawk

Last week Jerry, the Director of SAINT Animal Rescue, was able to help save
an injured hawk.  Two people saw the hawk on the road
unable to fly.  They had seen our rescue sign and walked up the 1/4 mile
driveway to SAINT seeking help for the hawk.  Jerry
immediately went to its rescue.  He was able to get it into a dog crate and
brought it to our Rescue.

Within a few hours the transporter for the Ellicott Wildlife Rehabilitation
Center (EWRC) was here.  The transporter was
able to get the hawk into a travel carrier and off to the Center.
